Gala Directions
The FLEPS 2022 Gala Dinner will take place at the Vienna City Hall, one of the most monumental and iconic buildings along the Ringstrasse. It was built during the 1870s in neogothical style. When standing in front of the building, you must turn left and go to the side entrance in Lichtenfelsgasse. If you type this street name into Google Maps, it will take you right there.
How To Get There
There are many possibilities how to reach the City Hall. From the conference venue, you can combine it with a bit of sightseeing along the Ringstrasse, Vienna’s famous boulevard.
On foot: Leave the building, cross the street, follow the small street to Karlsplatz, walk through the park until you reach the Ringstrasse. Follow the scenic route, passing by the opera house, museums, the Hofburg and the parliament until you reach the city hall park.
By public transport: The shortest connection is tram 1. Leave the building, cross the street and turn left. In three minutes you reach the tram stop Paulanergasse in front of the small church. Take tram 1, direction Prater, and enjoy the scenic ride along the Ringstrasse. Get off at Parlament or Rathaus and walk through the city hall park.
